An antique country store display case featuring oak construction with glass case, interior brass brackets and light in working condition.

The back panel is removable to access the interior, while whole case stis on a raised, flared base.

Grand Rapids Showcase Co. claimed to be the largest designer and manufacturer of dry goods, furniture and equipment in the world.

The brass tag on the front of this piece confirms that this particular display was manufactured before 1927 when the company merged with Welch-Wilmarth Company; name changes to Grand Rapids Store Equipment Company.
